800 There is a spectrum between the potential value a solution can deliver and the actual value a solution does deliver. There are various deliverables throughout the process which all require different approaches to analysis. In the later stages of the initiative solution analysis is needed as we need to understand what has been build (Maximizing solution value means understanding what has been built).

Equally at the earlier stages of a solutions development when there is less to go Strategy Analysis is more valuable. As Problem solving at scale requires analysis at the strategy level and throughout. In between these two extremes requirements analysis provides the most value. Requirements have a life cycle and need management at every stage.
