As an equal parts angry and sad teenager through the early 2000s I grew up with the Foo Fights as a massive part of my life. This album, specifically Monkey Wrench and Everlong were played at nauseum on my dads hand-me-down iPod classic. As well as a staple when driving anywhere with my dad, from road trips to school drop off.
I recall the joy of a) saving up for months to buy what might be the shittiest bass on the planet and then b) learning and playing along to Monkey Wrench in my bedroom.
So given that history I though I would give ‘The Colour And The Shape’ a full play through. (I played Monkey Wrench twice)
